Starptautiskā zinātnes padome aicina iesaistīties starptautiskā projektā Covid-19 pandēmijas nākotnes scenāriju izpētei

th

Starptautiskā zinātnes padome (International Science Council, ISC) sadarbībā ar Pasaules Veselības organizāciju (World Health Organization, WHO) un Apvienoto Nāciju Katastrofu risku mazināšanas biroju (United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, UNDRR) veic augsta līmeņa Covid-19 scenārija izvērtēšanu, lai izpētītu, kā turpmākajos gados pandēmija ietekmēs veselības, ekonomikas, sociālās, politiskās un citas jomas visā pasaulē un kāds ir jau pieņemto lēmumu iespaids uz pandēmijas attīstību.

Vairāk lasiet ISC aicinājumā (angļu val.):

The International Science Council is undertaking, in partnership with WHO and UNDRR, a high-level COVID-19 scenario assessment exercise exploring how the pandemic will play out across health, economic, social, political and other domains over the next few years at the global level, and how decisions made now will impact on the pandemic’s evolution.

More information on the project can be found on our website:
https://council.science/covid-19-scenarios/ [1]

In the first phase of our project, we are gathering insights from a multitude of domains and from all regions of the world. As we’re reaching out to a select number of the ISC's members, we were hoping that you could help us gather more expertise from your region and more
knowledge on one or any of the following topics:

* Education
* International law
* Vaccine hesitancy
* An alternative field of specialization relating to COVID-19 scenario planning

On behalf of President-elect Peter Gluckman and the Oversight Committee, I would like to kindly ask you to consider contributing your expertise and invite relevant colleagues, as well as members of your COVID-19 task force, working group or advisory team, to complete the short online form
via https://council.science/covid-19-scenarios/questionnaire/ [2] by June 15th 2021.

Your participation in the project would be greatly appreciated and assists the ISC in convening global voices for science for one of the most critical issues of our time.
